Ingredients
  

  • 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 1 package 10 ounces of marshmallows
  • 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions
 

  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray and set it aside.
  • In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat.
  • Once the butter has melted, add the marshmallows to the pot and stir constantly until they have completely melted.
  • Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until it is well coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and use a spatula to press it down evenly.
  • Let the Rice Krispie Treats cool completely, then cut them into squares.
  • Enjoy your delicious and easy-to-make Rice Krispie Treats!

Notes

Tips:
For an extra-special twist, try adding some chocolate chips, peanut butter, or your favorite candy to the mixture before pouring it into the baking dish.
To make cleanup easier, try using a silicone spatula to stir the marshmallow mixture and coat the cereal.
If you prefer softer Rice Krispie Treats, use fewer Rice Krispies cereal or add a little bit of extra butter to the mixture. If you prefer crunchier treats, use more cereal.
